Billy Kidwell returned from Vietnam to a gung-ho Airborne Unit at Fort Bragg North Carolnia, and despite telling his commanding Officer, over, and over, and over again, that he was having nightmares, and sleeping problems since Vietnam, that he had severe Family Hardships, and that he was unable to adjust to Stateside Duty, the Army refused to give Kidwell a Mental Health Exam, refused to give Kidwell any Counseling, or Mental Health Care of any kind, for his Nightmares, or Adjustment Problems, or Family Hardships, despite Kidwell constantly trying to get help.
